Back-To-School season is in full swing. We can feel it by the traffic on the roads, the crowds at the mall and the ‘crazy’ in the house…
There are any ways to save money at this time of year, and that often starts with planning. That being said, planning in advance during the summer can get complicated, especially if you have been travelling or have kids that have been away at camp.
Shopping on Amazon is one of the ways to save time and money this year…even if you are a last-minute kind of person 😉
- You can shop any time of the day or night, which means you can do this on your break at work or at home in the evening
- You can shop last-minute (especially if you have Amazon Prime!)
- You can order from your computer (or even your phone) and items are delivered straight to your door – saving you SO much time driving, shopping, parking, waiting in long lines….and you can save gas as well;)
- Amazon offers a vast selection of products including things you may not even realize they offer…
- There are items available for every school level – from Kindergarten up to CEGEP and University
If you don’t have Amazon Prime and would like to benefit from FREE 2-day shipping, then why not click on the image below to get a FREE 30-day trial? If paying for this service is not within your budget and you are worried about forgetting to unsubscribe – just set a reminder in your phone for 28 days from the time you subscribe! That said, I strongly recommend keeping it, as it will save you so much time and money throughout the year that you will wonder how you ever lived without it!!!
As for Back-To-School, Below are some items that you may choose to buy on Amazon this year (All images are clickable through to Amazon so that you can see prices as well as selection of colours, sizes, flavours, etc)
School Books
This year, when I received the list of books require for my teens, we checked Amazon and found several books at significantly lower prices. The trick is to search by ISBN number rather than by title because there are often many versions of the same book and while you want to save money, you also want to make sure that your child is reading from the same version as the rest of the class.
Snacks
My friend does this all the time! Some awesome grab & go snacks to buy for easy lunchtime packing are:
Salmas ( Many of you may remember I wrote about these a few years ago…they continue to be a hit with my family and I continue to get feedback from those who have tried and LOVED them)
GoGo Squeez: These are just fantastic for school and work lunches! If you chill them in advance, they are also super-refreshing 🙂
School Uniforms
Rain boots
Padlocks (you can even buy a set of two with the same combination…that way when you forget the Coe for yours because you haven’t been to the gym in a long time, you can just ask your kid for the code 😉 )
School Supplies
There are SO many other items that you can get online from Amazon- go have a look at their Back To School section and be inspired!
Happy shopping!
