Giving One #MillionHours – One Hour At a Time – For Canada’s 150th :)

Many of you already know that my Love affair with TELUS started when I started to gain an understanding of how much they give back to the community. It’s actually the reason Why I made the switch to TELUS.

Well, true-to-their-motto of “We give where we live”, TELUS has embarked upon a journey to give one #MillionHours of volunteer time and is challenging all Canadians to join in making a positive difference and to help inspire the #Next150 years of giving.

The journey towards one million hours began with the TELUS Days of Giving events across the country that began in May. To participate, Canadians are asked to make a pledge to give one hour of their time volunteering in their own communities and encourage others to join using the #MillionHours hashtag in social media. Canadians can pledge their support by visiting telus.com/millionhours.

You can watch the video above to see how I have decided to pledge my volunteer hours to this initiative. I then encourage you to click on the link above and take your pledge!

As stated in the video, we already know that TELUS gives SO much back to the community, let’s help them reach their goal of one #MillionHours of volunteer time given to the community in honour of Canada’s 150th 🙂

We live in the best country on the planet, and that is due in large part to those who are willing to give of their time to the community in which they live. Let’s keep our beautiful country and all of our communities going strong by giving at least an hour of our time 🙂

Wishing you all a Happy Canada Day!

Tanya
