Disney Cruise Line Visits New Ports Including Quebec City, Canada and Sails to Bermuda for the First Time in Fall 2018

For those of you who loved seeing the photos I shared from our family’s Disney Cruise, you will be thrilled to know that Disney Cruise Line will soon be offering:

  • Round trip sailings from New York stopping in Bermuda
  • Round Trip Sailings from New York to Canada ( St. John, New Brunswick)
  • New-York to Québec City (and vice versa) with stops in Saguenay, Halifax & Baie Comeau.

WOW!!!!

Why am I so excited?

Well, besides the fact that we’ll have a little Disney au Québec, this makes travelling with Disney Cruise Line even more accessible to us Montrealers. The reason that I say this is that one of the hurdles of getting a family onto a cruise is often the flight to the port city. New York has been an attractive departure port option for Montreal families simply because we can get there fairly easily without having to pay big bucks on airfare, and New York is an awesome city to spend a pre-sailing day or two no matter if you are sailing spring, summer, winter or fall!

While there are already the Disney Cruise Line offerings out of New York, they have, until now,  been a little more ‘limited’.

These new itineraries offer attractive options including some significant Canadian content 😉 ( I mean, you knew I would LOVE that part right?!?)  ( FYI – If you haven’t been to the Saguenay yet…it’s simply breathtaking)

It’s also worth knowing that in addition to the new itineraries from New York to Bermuda and Canada, three special sailings from New York will take guests to Walt Disney World and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay. Sailings from California, Texas and Florida round out the 2018 fall season.

Bookings open to the public on May 18, 2017. More details on 2018 itineraries can be found on the Ports and Itineraries for 2018 page of disneycruise.com.

BUT – if you’re a Platinum, Gold or Silver Castaway Club member, you’ll want to know that you’re invited to enjoy the exclusive opportunity to book our new cruises before they go on sale to the general public.
