RECALL: Toys”R”Us recalls Imaginarium Safari Stacking Cubes

imaginariumThis recall involves the Imaginarium 19 pieces Safari Stacking Cubes with the UPC 803516350856. The toy is made of 10 laminated cardboard cubes and 9 wooden blocks in a variety of shapes. The stacking cubes stack 3 feet tall and have five activity sides (2 puzzle matching, counting, shape sorting and Imaginarium animal friends). The product dimensions are 16 inches x 6 inches x 6 inches.

Pieces of laminated paper can be torn off the cardboard cubes, posing a choking hazard to young children.

Neither Health Canada nor Toys“R”Us has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this product.

Approximately 3,380 units of the recalled toy were sold at Toys“R”Us stores and on toysrus.ca in Canada.

The recalled toys were sold from August 2014 to April 2016.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled toy away from children and return it to the nearest Toys“R”Us store to receive a refund or store credit.
