Proud to be Canadian
What does that mean to me?
It means I can be whoever I am
From wherever I may be

Now, I happen to be born & bred,
A Montrealer from Day One
But that’s not something that holds true
For each & everyone

The beauty of this country
Lies in the diversity of our people
Whether you come from from Greece or Italy
If you pray at shul or under steeple

For each and all are welcome
To practice culture and tradition
We respect one another’s right
To practice his or her religion

We love to eat each other’s foods
Pad Thai, Pizza or Won Ton
Samosa, Sushi, Shish Taouk
The list goes on and on

The beauty of this country
Lies in our diversity
Alongside one another
The True North, Strong and Free

Wishing everybody a Happy Canada Day and a fabulous long weekend!

While being on vacation
I check your site yet,
No matter what I say or do,
It carried through the Fete.
So keep your work informing us
Of what there is to do
And so, we can eventually,
Just pick and shop anew.
