We have a beautiful shower, but it has no storage.
We had one of those wire gizmos hanging from the shower head but things would slip through & slip off and it wasn’t enough to store the family-size bottles of shampoo, etc. plus the various body scrubs & gels that have made their way into our shower, and so all of these remained on the floor…until now.
I found this fabulous shower shelving unit at Costco and we’re thrilled with the result!
You can configure the height & order of the shelves in the way that you wish (each shelf is different, one has an indentation for a bar of soap, some have additional hooks, etc.
The height of the bar is adjustable. If you have a tub shower, it adjusts to fit between a corner ledge of your tub & the ceiling.
Everything is stored neatly and is accessible to those who need it. Since the kids use our shower sometimes we made sure what they need is accessible to them as well.
The unit was generally easy to assemble. We had a bit of difficulty figuring out how to clip the first shelf to the pole, but once we figured it out it was smooth sailing.
The bar is a tension bar and the unit installs very easily in the corner of your shower.
This was a $70 solution to years of inconvenient bending while showering & lots of shifting things around when cleaning. Worth every penny.
Interestingly enough some quick research revealed that this “Advanced Habitat” -branded unit is almost (if not) identical to the Simple Human brand version which sells at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $169.99! See here: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.ca/product.asp?sku=14892141&
An excellent solution for any family, but especially important if anyone suffers from back pain or vertigo.
Yet another wonderful product from my favourite place.
Wishing you a day where you only look up, not down 😉
