This recall involves BOKA pacifier holders with the following characteristics:
- The metal clip is glued to the wooden disc and is not attached with screws.
- The metal clip and the silicone ring of the pacifier holders are attached with stitching to the ends of a ribbon, which can be of various colours.
Pacifier holders with the following characteristics are NOT part of the recall:
- The metal clip is attached to the wooden disc with two screws.
- The ribbon is attached to the wooden disc.
- The silicone ring is held onto the ribbon with a rivet.
Hazard identified
The wooden disc on the recalled pacifier holders can detach from the metal clip, posing a choking hazard for young children.
Health Canada has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.
Les Produits Arboréka Inc. has received two reports related to the detachment of the wooden disc, with no reports of injury.
Number sold
Approximately 1,500 pacifier holders were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled pacifier holders were sold from April 2015 to July 2016.

Consumers should immediately remove the pacifier holders from the reach of children. Consumers can contact Les Produits Arboréka Inc. to obtain a new product in exchange.
