Gnocchi for Passover – on Breakfast Television Montreal

The holiday of Passover brings many dietary restrictions to those who observe.  Many families find they miss having pasta.  While ‘Kosher for Passover’ noodles are available, they’re not always the best…

A few years ago I had the idea of making gnocchi, a potato-based ‘pasta’ and using potato starch as a substitute for the flour. I came up with this simple recipe.  It’s so easy that even the kids can help make it! ( Bonus…it keeps them BUSY….)

Click here to watch me demonstrate the recipe, together with Derrick Fage on Breakfast Television:

The result?

Passover Gnocchi

And don’t forget the yummy ‘by product’ of Pizza Potato Skins:

Wishing all those celebrating a very Happy Passover !
