Dead Men Tell No Tales…but Bloggers Do ;) #NoSpoilers #PiratesLife

This week, my family had the privilege of being among the first in the city to see Disney’s latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

As you know, I like to share with you when I think a movie is worthwhile seeing, but prefer to keep things spoiler-free.

In that vain, here’s what I can tell you about the movie:

If you enjoyed prior Pirates of the Caribbean movies, you will enjoy this one as well 🙂

Johnny Depp embodies his ‘down & out’ Jack Sparrow as perfectly as always and elicits more than a few laughs in the process. We see several familiar faces let’s just say, everyone gets a good laugh when Jack encounters an old relative ( I’ll leave it at that!)

New faces to ‘Pirates’ are Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth, and Brenton Thwaite as Henry – and not only are they both fantastic, but they were brilliantly cast in those roles. Rather than elaborate, I will allow you to see for yourselves when you see the movie 🙂

In the spirit of no-spoilers, I don’t want to give too much detail, but let’s just say there’s a scene that deals with the guillotine that will keep you in stitches and at the end of your seat the entire time. The scenery and special effects are excellent, and true-to- Pirates of the Caribbean tradition,  Dead Men Tell No Tales delivers a few surprises  as always and the storyline kept us all intrigued.

What else can I tell you?  The music is classic Pirates of the Caribbean, but is as perfect as it was in all of the preceding movies.

Is it worth going to see?  You bet it is, especially if you’re already a Pirates fan. The entire family loved it, including my 10 year old, my teens and my hubby and I.

Join fans around the globe as they celebrate Disney’s ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ – Dead Men Tell No Tales opening in theatres …today!

Wishing you a weekend where you get a taste of a the #PiratesLife 😉
