Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Pancakes

INGREDIENTS

1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. canola oil
3/4 c. chocolate chips

METHOD

  • Whisk together flour, salt & baking powder in a large bowl
  • In a separate large bowl, beat eggs, milk & oil until well combined
  • Add the dry mixture to the wet
  • Mix together just until well-blended
  • Stir in chocolate chips
  • Drop by tablespoonful on a griddle pre-heated to 375°
  • When bubbles begin to form flip & cook a few minutes longer.
