This recall involves children’s doctor playsets sold in various designs and models. The toy sets contain a stethoscope with a variety of toy medical instruments. The product is labelled for ages 2 and above.
The ear buds on the stethoscope and the tip of the syringe may detach causing a choking hazard to young children.
Neither Health Canada nor Dollar Tree has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.
Approximately 31,554 units of the recalled doctor playsets were sold at Dollar Tree Canada locations.
The recalled toy was sold from July 2011 to December 2015.
Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
