  1. Moment of bravery – this summer my little one swam for a week with a floatie. The week afterwards, she decided to try swimming on her own and has been so proud to be in the water all on her own! We are kvelling! @tovahavis

  2. My little one learned how to swim this summer! One week was a bathing suit with floaties, the next, all by herself and loving the floating in the water – if I wasn’t so scared to run and get my camera – I would have actually taken a photo! Moments of bravery! @tovahavis

  3. I was SO proud of my child’s bravery a few weeks ago when were at the ocean. His first day he got stung by a jellyfish! I thought it would ruin swimming in the ocean for the vacation, but as soon as he could, he was back in! It may not seem like much, but at that age, I was stung too and trust me, I was NOT in the ocean again for a long while LOL. @AskMamaMOE

  4. My son, who has autism, was being bullied during an after school activity. He was about to be punched when my daughter and her friend stopped him. So proud of her! She is a big defender of her brother :))

  5. My daughter went on a trip to the other end of the country with a group she is in. It was brave because she suffers from debilitating anxiety and it was not an easy trip to make without her family for her first stay away from home. So proud. 🙂

  6. Moment of bravery: a few years back, in the rough waves of Cancun, my husband spotted a girl that was drowning pretty far from shore. The lifeguard was nowhere in sight, and no one wanted to risk getting caught in the strong waves. My husband was brave enough to go out in the rough seas and rescue this young girl. My kids and I watched in awe from the beach. My husband’s bravery that day was absolutely amazing!

  7. Ive never been more proud of Christian over coming his fears as I was when we went to Voiles en Voiles. Having just turned 3 and barely 25lbs, the employees were all skeptical that he would be able to participate. He went from being terrified to even putting on the helmet and harness to completing the entire first level all on his own. At every obstacle he would say “Mommy I can’t, I’m scared” but would push himself to do it through role play (I was the princess and he was Spiderman getting through the obstacles to save me). Ive never been so proud of him but better then that, I have never seen him so proud of himself.

  8. I was so proud of my oldest son who recently lost his first took. He did not cry at all and was showing it off to all his buddies like it was his most prized possession. I am so proud of him whenever he smiles at me seeing that spot where a tooth once was. He is brave everyday as he gets older and older and overcomes new challenges.

  9. My 9 year old daughter jumped into a pool this summer. She is generally incredibly anxious in many situations. What a smile on her face!! My Twitter is @bringgeula

  10. My son went ziplining in New Hampshire. While it scared the bejeezuz out of his mom (and I would go nowhere near it), he did it like a pro without hesitation. Follow you on Twitter @RedDreamStudios

  11. My kids are all pretty brave, from heading to sleep away camp for the first time (youngest was only 7), to canoe camping in the backwoods (although that is more brave on the part of my husband and myself – 5 little ones and a dog in 2 canoes, hours on the water away from civilization), to barely shedding a tear for 7 stitches at age 4 (ok only one of them is that brave)!
