My First Blog Post

Since the launch of montrealmom.com  over a year ago, I have been fortunate to have developed a rapport with my readers.  Many of you have reached out with helpful  feedback, comments and suggestions.  One of the things that you asked for was a place to weigh in and join the conversation.  By the same token, I felt a lack within the site of a place where I could share with you in a more casual way.  The answer became clear: A blog would provide the space for me to share “in the moment” and space for you to weigh in, comment & contribute.

Here I hope to share funny anecdotes, my reviews of the latest gizmos I’ve tried out, musings about motherhood & entrepreneurship as well as great ideas that just need to be shared.  I hope that you will use this space to contribute your own funny anecdotes, your take on the latest & greatest (or not) gadgets and your experiences as moms, wives (or not) & as women.

I would love to hear from you to know what topics you would like to see covered within the blog.  Just let me know!

In the spirit of sharing funny anecdotes.. I will start with something that just happened to me in the waiting room at the doctor’s office today…

I was speaking with a fellow mom who said something along the lines of  “Oh, you have four kids?” when her son piped in with ” Four kids?  No offense, but it looks like you’re having another one!”  Needless to say the poor Mom felt horribly.  I have to say though, that I just had to laugh.  I was still laughing about it when I got into the car.  From the mouth of babes…Perhaps tomorrow I will blog about the benefits of exercise?!?!

I would love to hear your funny stories and From the mouth of babes moments…Please share!

So I guess that does it for blog post #1.  About to hit “Publish”…

Have a wonderful day & enjoy the sunshine!

Tanya
