Family-Friendly Viewing? Netflix has you covered with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air & & Full House!!!

My hubby and I (and many of our friends) have often discussed how there seems to be little quality TV left for viewing, ESPECIALLY for family viewing.

We have often asked ourselves why no one seems to be creating any of the great family-friendly-type shows that were around “in our time”.

41d1354a-7727-4a0a-926e-f9c691c0e20bTo add to the challenge, my kids’ ages range from 8 to 13 so they are no longer into the “little kid” stuff, yet it can be challenging to find something appropriate for an 8 year old that the teens / tweens are still into.

Thanks to Netflix, we were grateful to come across the series Merlin , which I HIGHLY recommend for family viewing (You can read my review here)

Well, our prayers have once again been answered! THANK YOU NETFLIX!!!

Not only are family-friendly shows available, but so are the “oldies but goodies” 🙂 🙂 🙂

Fresh Prince_571x800My kids are enthralled with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ( I happen to LOVE Will Smith, so I can’t blame them!).

They also discovered Full House and if I we were to let them watch it day & night, they would.

Both my hubby & I are thrilled for them to laugh & giggle through episodes of Fresh Prince as they casually glean little moral lessons about life & how to behave appropriately, something sorely missing from much of today’s programming.  (We also happen to love hearing them sing along to the intro song #justsaying)

Full HouseAs for Full House? Who can ask for a more fun-loving show full of life-lessons? And now there is chatter about a reunion! #CantWait 🙂

Both shows are enjoyable to us, as parents, to watch with the kids but we are also happy to let them watch episodes on their own, at times where we can’t be with them to watch.

As a member of the Netflix #StreamTeam, I will continue to post about shows & movies that are family friendly and #montrealmomapproved 🙂

Wishing you a wonderful day while the sun is shining…but when the sun goes down (or when it rains)…enjoy an episode or two en famille and create your own memories from the “Good ‘ol days” 🙂
